Welcome to the website of The Charlotte Frey Foundation. In 2011, the foundation
was established in memory of our precious little Charlotte. Charlotte proved she
was a fighter by surviving a severe, global brain injury during her birth in 2007.
Despite facing multiple handicaps and increasingly complex medical struggles she
fought on to charm everyone she met until her death in September, 2010. Charlotte
used her long eyelashes, blonde curls, expressive eyebrows, and world-class cuddling
skills to captivate her family, friends, nurses, therapists, and the community around
her.
Charlotte changed our lives with her patience and courage. We were similarly amazed at the dedication, support, energy, and expertise that Charlotte’s medical teams, therapists, and teachers bestowed on Charlotte and our family. In her honor and in theirs we strive to help other children with multiple handicaps and life-threatening illnesses and their incredible families.
